Mr. Corbett is the managing attorney and founder of the firm, which was established in 1981. For the past 25 years he has specialized exclusively in personal injury cases and holds an AV rating (highest rating for ability from Martindale-Hubbell). He is recognized by his peers and the legal community as an aggressive and highly effective advocate in representing the injured.

Mr. Corbett graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.S. degree in Biology. He earned his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

He is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, American Trial Lawyers Association, San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, and the California Bar Association.

In addition to trial, arbitration and mediation experience, he has served as a court-appointed settlement conference panelist in the Superior Court.

He has handled cases in State courts throughout California and in Federal District Courts.

His cases have been reported in newspapers and legal publications, locally and nationally. He has appeared as a guest on television regarding medical malpractice.

He has obtained many million and multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients including what is believed the highest settlement in California for a person older than 80 years of age ($4.5 million for an 86 years old personal injury client).

He is also a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Mr. Corbett was raised in Whittier, California. He was valedictorian of his high school class and recipient of the Bank of America Award in Mathematics. While attending the University of California at Santa Barbara he received a grant from the U.S. State Department to speak at colleges and universities in Pakistan concerning matters of America foreign affairs and foreign policy.

He is an avid surfer, mountain climber and tennis player.
